Lucky those born in October as the birthstones are some of my favourite stones, Opal and Tourmaline. Both of these gemstones are known for their endless color combinations and are believed to have been created from rainbows. Opal is a symbol of hope, purity and truth. Whilst Tourmaline Tourmaline is thought to be for people who bear a broken heart, as it encourages love, gently disperses emotional pain and dissolves disruptive feelings.
